Home Office Desks with Hutch

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by by XXLXT ALMOST PERFECT We bought this 7-piece unit to replace two inexpensive and mismatched desks. Our intent was to create an efficient and good looking office and this set works beautifully. My wife and I both have the equivalent of two standard file drawers, one moderate depth storage drawer and three shallow drawers for pens, notepads and other small items. The small drawers all have hinged fronts for use as keyboard or laptop storage. We really like the face-to-face work surface. While the units look great, some of the construction details are not so good. The drawer bottoms are very light weight, thin material supported by equally weak cross-braces; one brace was warped and dragging on the frame. Screw holes are very visible on the inside of the desk leg; they should have plugs in them. These are relatively minor complaints; overall, we are very happy with our purchase. January 21, 2013
